With a bi-monthly publication, it is inevitable that, sometimes, items of news will come to our attention just after we have gone to press.
If they cannot wait until the next issue, this page will carry the information. It is not, however, intended for items that could have reached us
in time for publication in the magazine.

Amrysain provide the music for a ceilidh at All Saints Church Hall, Victoria Square, Penarth on Saturday, 6th March. All proceeds will go to the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture. Tickets can be booked from Teresa Mitchell on (029) 2070 5458.

As we went to press on the February/March issue of Taplas, it is with great sadness that we have heard of the death of Scottish singer/songwriter Alistair Hulett of liver failure, on January 28 2010. A full obituary will follow in the April/May 2010 issue of Taplas.

Dai Bach Band (with caller Grainne Joughin) provide the music for a ceilidh at Caerleon Town Hall on 13 February. The event is a fundraiser for the Haiti earthquake crisis. Tickets can be bought on (01633) 815612 / 430271 / 277060.
